Exclusively Inclusive River Cruising

In our shortest river cruise on the Seine, discover the essence of this legendary river in just six days. Round-trip from Paris, your journey flows through the heart of Normandy, where history, culture, and artistry line the riverbanks.

Begin in the City of Light before sailing to Rouen, where medieval architecture rises at every turn. Dine at a 16th-century château with live music and a private tour; stand on the shores of Normandy where D-Day battles were fervently fought; explore the elegance of Château de Bizy, meet a Norman farmer and taste cider and calvados, traditions perfected over centuries; and return to Paris to immerse yourself in world-class art at Musée du Louvre and timeless landmarks.

Versailles of Normandy

An aristocratic jewel

Built in the 18th century on the site of an earlier château, Château de Bizy was long associated with French royalty and nobility – once home to relatives of King Louis XV and later to members of Napoleon's family. Nicknamed the "Versailles of Normandy" for its grandeur, it boasts opulent salons, ornate stables, and sculpted fountains modeled on those at Versailles. Its gardens and parklands, designed in the French classical style, reflect the taste and prestige of an era when aristocratic life revolved around display and ceremony.

Tasting Normandy's Cider & Calvados

Normandy's orchard tradition

From orchard to glass, Normandy's rolling countryside is steeped in apples. Across Normandy's rolling countryside, local farmers press more than 300,000 cider apples into crisp, golden cider and distill them into rich calvados, the region's famed apple brandy. Onboard your riverboat, meet a Norman farmer who shares traditions that date to the Middle Ages, then savor a tasting that captures Normandy in a glass.

Honoring History at Normandy's D-Day Sites

A poignant reminder of history

On June 6, 1944, nearly 160,000 Allied troops landed on the beaches of Normandy to begin the liberation of France from Nazi control. Along a 50-mile stretch of coast – on the code-named beaches of Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword – more than 5,000 ships and 13,000 aircraft supported the invasion. The cost was heavy, with over 9,000 Allied soldiers losing their lives. From battling strong currents and rough seas to scaling the cliffs at Pointe du Hoc, the beaches of Normandy remain a solemn reminder of courage and sacrifice.
