Located in the NPO (New Public Offices), The Churchill War Romms, as they are known today, were a series of rooms where Winston Churchill strategized the majority of the campaigns during World War II on the Allied Powers route to victory. Comprised of the War Cabinet room, the Map room, the Switchboard room, the Transatlantic Communication room (where he spoke to President Franklin Roosevelt in private) and his own private room and office, the rooms were in use from 1940 to 1945 and over 100 meetings were held at the Cabinet War room. On an after-hours visit, you'll have the opportunity to tour these intrepid rooms, stepping back in time to when these rooms were in constant use and discover the places where the world was saved.
