WILTON, CT (April 28, 2026) – As America's 250th anniversary shines a spotlight on the nation's landscapes and heritage, Tauck has opened bookings for its 2027 North America portfolio including two new U.S. national parks itineraries: Yellowstone Awakens: Spring & Fall and Bryce & Zion: Sculpted by Time.

Designed to offer distinctive accommodations, deeper access to national parks, and a range of ways to explore each destination, the new itineraries join a 2027 North America portfolio that, in presale, is already pacing 13% ahead of 2026 bookings.

Yellowstone Awakens: Spring & Fall is a six-day Small Group journey (averaging 24 guests or fewer) that explores Yellowstone National Park during its prime wildlife seasons—spring and fall—when the animals are most active, and the park has historically less visitors. Guests spend four nights inside the park at the historic Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and experience two full-morning wildlife safaris through Lamar Valley aboard smaller safari vehicles, led by expert naturalist guides.

Spring departures bring wildflowers and newborn wildlife; fall reveals elk in rut, mountain goats at lower elevations and the golden tones of changing foliage. The itinerary also includes exclusive behind-the-scenes cultural and wildlife experiences, from a private visit to the Yellowstone Heritage and Research Center to an evening workshop with a Native American artist. Departures are offered in May and again in October and November. (From $4,790 USD per person, double occupancy, plus airfare.)

Bryce & Zion: Sculpted by Time is a new seven-day Small Group journey through southern Utah's canyon country, combining guided exploration of Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks with time in lesser-visited settings including Snow Canyon State Park and Kodachrome Basin. Accommodations are central to the experience, with guests spending two nights at Black Desert Resort near Snow Canyon before continuing to Clear Sky Resorts near Bryce Canyon, where glass-domed accommodations offer unobstructed views of some of the clearest, most star-lit skies in North America.

In Zion, guests explore the canyon aboard a private tram and stay at Hotel De Novo in Springdale, steps from the park entrance. Tour highlights include a private guided slot canyon walk, a hands-on visit to Windhorse Wisdom, and a guided stargazing experience. (From $6,990 USD per person, double occupancy, plus airfare.)

A LEGACY IN THE PARKS: NINE DECADES AND COUNTING
Tauck first brought guests to Yellowstone in 1934—a 7,000-mile journey by train and private coach from the Chicago World's Fair through the American West. Nine decades later, the company operates across more than 44 national parks and monuments, drawing on relationships with park historians, naturalist guides and cultural organizations to offer access that goes well beyond what guests can arrange on their own.

That legacy extends to how Tauck approaches accommodations. Staying inside a park—as guests do on several Tauck itineraries including Yellowstone Awakens—means being there at dawn when wildlife is most active and enjoying a peaceful sunset long after day visitors have headed home. Near-park properties offer a different advantage, immersing guests in the natural landscape in addition to more comforts and amenities: the glass-domed accommodations on Bryce & Zion, the safari-style tents at Under Canvas on Paradise Valley, Yellowstone & the Tetons and the tented accommodations at ULUM Moab on the Tauck Bridges Wild, Wild West Family Adventure.

Tauck's exclusive partnership with filmmaker Ken Burns and writer Dayton Duncan over the past 15 years has further deepened that connection, producing over 100 original film vignettes and a collection of Crafted by Tauck and Ken Burns journeys across the national parks. The company's one-time Celebrating America's 250th event—a seven-day journey featuring an exclusive keynote with Burns and after-hours access to the National Archives—sold out shortly after it was announced.

STRONG DEMAND FOR NATIONAL PARK TRAVEL
National parks continue to be a major driver of Tauck's North American journeys, with 72% of the company's North America bookings in 2025 including visits to U.S. and Canadian parks. Also fueling the expansion is continued interest in closer-to-home travel, particularly journeys that combine distinctive accommodations and experiences.

In all, Tauck will offer 36 North America itineraries in 2027 — including five Tauck Bridges journeys designed specifically for families — and A Week In... Mexico City and Oaxaca journey. Among returning favorites, Tauck's reimagined for 2027 Seaside New England: Boston, Cape Cod & Newport features an extra day of activities in Boston, a new full-day excursion to Nantucket and an exclusive, after-hours visit of The Breakers mansion in Newport.
