Michael has been a Tauck “Maestro” on our Musical Magic Along The Blue Danube river cruises since 2010, and a Tauck Director along the Rhine since 2017; he has lived in Basel, Switzerland, since 2013. Michael studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and earned his PhD in historical musicology at Columbia University; he has a historical – and musical – passion for 1790–1830 Vienna.

    I want to thank Tauck for re-running this presentation, so that we can enjoy it again. I also want to
    thank you for this musical trip during these trying times. We were supposed to be in Germany and Poland this week and had to postpone our trip.

  4. I enjoyed very much the video on Beethoven’s life and work. It was well-planned and presented. I am glad to see that Tauck is still offering the Musical Tour on the Danube. My best friend and I were on the tour in 2012 and had a wonderful time. If there are other arts, especially music-related videos produced, please let me know.
