Save the Rain | Empowering Communities with Clean Water
In Tanzania's Maroroni Village, water is life. And often, the lack of it means the loss of opportunity. For generations, women and young girls have spent up to six hours each day walking in search of safe drinking water, sacrificing education, economic security, and health.
Save the Rain is changing that. Through their residential rainwater harvesting systems, community reservoirs, and sustainable gardens, this initiative brings clean water directly to homes and schools – giving more than 11,000 individuals the chance to thrive.
Already, the results are remarkable: 95% of children have now achieved perfect school attendance. With our support, even more young women will return to the classroom, empowering a future built on knowledge, opportunity, and hope.
Duomo Museum | Preserving Renaissance Mastery
Rising above the entrance of Florence's Duomo Museum, the marble bust of Cosimo I de' Medici stands as a testament to the Renaissance spirit. Crafted in the 16th century by master sculptor Giovanni Bandini, this iconic work is framed by intricate fruit garlands, Medici emblems, and the crown of Tuscany.
Great Barrier Reef Foundation | Restoring the Great Barrier Reef
Beneath the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef, a quiet revolution in conservation is underway. Innovative techniques like Coral IVF – collecting and relocating coral larvae to damaged reefs – are dramatically improving survival rates, offering new hope to one of Earth's most fragile ecosystems.
Our support will help scale these efforts by training local tourism operators, traditional owners, and marine scientists to restore and protect reef sites across Queensland.
From pioneering portable coral nurseries capable of growing 100,000 new corals each year to expanding sustainable partnerships through the Coral Nurture Program, this work is ensuring the reef, and the communities who depend on it, can flourish for generations to come.
