Westin Kierland vs. Troon

We did not get into Troon.... not sure why but Tauck said not available. We are all at the Westin Kierland Resort. Any experience with this hotel? We're getting in the night before and look for something interesting to do on Saturday before the welcome reception.

    What date does your trip begin on? When did Tauck inform you of different resort?
    You can contact the concierge at the resort for sight seeing choices. You will probably need to use uber/taxis or rent a car through the resort since things look pretty spread out.

    Stayed at the Westin a number of years ago. Very nice. Don't know of much to do in the area. However, you are about to embark on a fairly grueling trip so hanging out at the pool and relaxing before you start is a good idea.
