Clarification on luggage

My wife and I are taking the week in Scotland trip this month and we wanted to clarify the requirements/limits on luggage. We intent to have two checked bags plus an additonal carry-on bags, including a roll on. While all this will be OK for the airline will it be OK for our travel within Scotland? I guess my question is: if it's OK for the airline is it OK for Tauck?
