in Tanzania: Serengeti to Zanzibar
are any alcoholic beverages served on this tour as part of the package? are they available for purchase? I was recently told that you cant buy or use liqour in Tanzania. looking forward to our May 24 safari

    I think there is probably alcohol provided at the welcome and farewell dinners, that's pretty usual on most Tauck tours. But we won't be seeing any stores until we get to Zanzibar

    The websites for the hotels discuss alcohol options. That would lead me to believe you can partake in the spirits. Just don't go on a walk with the lions after you do.

    Anything you want is available for a price in the hotels. As I recall drinks were available for the welcome dinner but I can't recall if wine and beer was offered with dinner.
