We are traveling early May and are just wondering how the water levels have been. Has anyone's trip had to move off the water to a hotel due to high water levels? Thanks!
I'm not aware of any current reports of flooding on the Seine. There are historic reports of the Seine flooding in the northern hemisphere winter and spring (as late as April). I think if there was any current issue it would have been reported in the press. Of course, May is still yet to come. Nothing's impossible, particularly where the weather gods are concerned, so who knows?
As always, Tauck will be in contact with you directly if there should be any problems. They are very good at working on Plan B when and if there is a need.
Jan is absolutely right. If there are any issues, whether from flooding or otherwise, we will absolutely let you know about them as soon as we possibly can, and how much it will affect your trip (if at all).
