We are arriving from Virginia via Newark on United on March 8. Anyone else on this flight or arriving a day early interested in arranging sightseeing on the 9th?
I always say the same thing to people who want to do lots of site-seeing the first day after arrival. Never underestimate how you may feel with jet-lag, especially flying East. Do not make concrete plans until after you have arrived in case you don't feel up to it and would prefer to do a few leisurely things near the hotel. Advice from an experienced traveler. With apologies if you have more energy than we do!
