Did you need the waterproof sandals included on the packing list?

    We just returned. It is the dry season in Tanzania and Kenya, but there was one day with rain which made the "roads" in Kenya a slippery nightmare. We had ponchos and umbrellas but did not use either as the rain passed quickly.
