ALTENWORTH LOCK TO OPEN JUNE 27
There is finally some good news. The Altenworth Lock will open one chamber on June 27 to commercial traffic. This includes cargo and passenger ships. Barred from passage are pleasure crafts (personal boats and yachts) until June 30. This is to clear the waiting commercial traffic.
Finally a ray of hope that things may get back to a semblance of normal.
