Shopping on 'a week in Italy...Venice..Florence and Rome'

My husband and I are taking this tour in may..does anyone know if there is much shopping available and where and if the tour has time built in to shop on our own..does anyone know about antique shopping in Italy or designer shops as well? Thanks for any info or experiences you have!

    In Rome, the Via Dei Coronari was full of antiques places, galleries, and restaurants. There are many, of course, but this is one I still have info about. In Florence, be sure to stop in the "Officina Profumo Farmaceitica di Santa Maria Novella." It was established on the via della Scala, near the church. You will find some timeless scents there! If you like textiles, the Passamaneria Valmar on Via Porta Rossa (near the Palazzo Porcellino had an amazing collection of tassels, embroidery, pillows. Course things change - I'll be there in two weeks! Be sure to check what people say on Trip Advisor, too. Have a great trip~
