Do are all the trips from the ship to shore require getting into the water and wading ashore? What is the recommended foot ware when exploring the islands?
There are a few docks but mostly you get off into the water. Not to worry as it is usually less than a foot and someone is always there to help you. Water shoes work well or sandles, crocks, etc, just make sure they have a good sole the lava can be hard to walk on This is a
