The Mission

Before you go on the trip (to Iguazu Falls) rent the movie, check it out from your library, or buy the discs. The 1986 movie was shot on location at Iguazu Falls and you will remember (vivdily) the scenes when you experience the setting. The Jeremy Irons/Robert De Niro film has an outstanding soundtrack that was later popularized by Sarah Brightman. The movie/soundtrack was one of the motivators for us to take the "Essence of South America" trip and we were not disappointed.
