I brought my Kindle in order to read books on the long flights to and from Africa. However, there really wasn't much time to read during the tour except a little bit before going to sleep!
I suggest you download your reading material before leaving home so you don't have to do it in the hotels. The hotels have wi-fi, but only in the lobby and bar areas.
