Garmin Pedestrian Maps

We're on the Oct 4 Prague to Budapest sailing and wondered if anyone had any experience with the Garmin Cityxplorer Pedestrian maps. They are available for Prague, Vienna and Budapest. I know it can be fun to be lost sometimes but other times, not so much. Any comments?

We have been to these cities and they are easy to navigate on your own. All you need is a local street map that Tauck probably will supply, if not your hotel pre-stay has loads. There are areas that alot of the old town is easy to walk. Even in Prague there are many half and full day tours that will bring you about in an airconditioned van. The Castle in Prague is located just a little outside the old town and you could walk it or take a tram. Also in Vienna the " winter castle is just a few stops on the tram outside the old town/opera house section where the pedestrian mall is located. It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the layout of each city just to plan your day and what you wish to view. Each city you could spent a week drinking in the culture and history.
