April visit
My wife and I went on this trip in April. While the weather was terrible, train to Rome broke down, rain every day, wallet was lost/stolen in Capri, etc. We had a great trip and are planning to go somewhere with Tauck in 2013.
The reason for the "great trip" was three-fold. 1) Giorgio, our Tour Director. He kept us all optimistic, was a great source of information, and truly made our trip memorable in every way. 2) The people on our tour - Everyone was great. We kept laughing and enjoying. We really enjoyed the diversity of our group. 3) The quality of the tour itself. Never could we have put together an itinerary as interesting and as varied as this one.
Are we envious of the postings of "great weather"? Of course, but we had a wonderful time. Thank you, Giorgio. Thank you, Tauck.
