This exceeded our expectations even though my husband is an avid Jazz fan for 80 years and I liked jazz but after the trip am an avid fan. My husband is 97 years young and he liked everything about this tour...so it goes to show, one is never too old to take or enjoy a Tauck Tour.

Most Memorable Moment:

There were many. One that stands out...Lunch at the Gem Saloon with Doreen and her family ensemble singing La Vie En Rose....bought the CD and my husband has requested it be played at his funeral....World War 11 memories for him and Tauck Tour memories for he two of us.

I have been having major health issues, and so all of the wonderful music brought my heart to life again. I was swaying at one point and said "I feel like dancing." A native told me "honey, in New Orleans, you can dance anytime and anywhere!" So, I did. It was healing. The informational tracks were most enlightening.

Most Memorable Moment:

Doing the walking tour in the torrential rain.

We attended the Tauck Event of Jazz in New Orleans. Tauck did not fail to come through once again (This is our fifth trip with them). We were treated to at least 2-3 jazz performances per day--enough that now I am able to tell you what type of jazz I prefer! The food and lodging was top rate.

Most Memorable Moment:

I loved our lunch in the Gem Saloon and getting to hear Doreen make magic on her clarinet. I bought two of her CD's to carry the memory home with me.

I'm still thinking about this fabulous jazz and cultural trip to New Orleans! How fun and very informative it was. It seemed I had been gone 10 days instead of 5 days! We never stopped! and everything was planned with a lot of thought! I LOVED every minute! Any one who loves jazz, and wants to know how it all got started must GO!

Most Memorable Moment:

Everything was memorable! Probably the last day when we went to the Orpheum theatre and we danced on the stage!! and I had a wonderful experience of dancing with the professionals! SO MUCH FUN!! I wanted to dance the whole time to such fabulous dancing jazz the whole time I was there..and we finally got to get those feet a moving!

A year later I still have very fond memories of this trip. The Jazz events included a night of entertainment with Ellis Marsalis and Ken Burns. Touring included the Jazz archives at Tulane University, visiting Preservation Hall and other historical places. Would loved to have spent more time enjoying the culture and the music.

Most Memorable Moment:

Seeing the costumed dancers and listening to all the great music.

Outstanding with hot New Orleans jazz for every meal. Tauck out did itself on this event. I learn so much about the history of NO and jazz. Each day was full of surprises. October is the best time to see N.O.

Most Memorable Moment:

Meeting Ken Burns and walking the streets of N.O., tasting the wonderful food and listing to the music live.
