Curated for every itinerary, these are the can't-miss experiences you'll be telling your friends about long after you return home.

Visit the largest open-air gallery of Paleolithic rock art in Europe - Peñascosa. Located in the Côa Valley, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to "petroglyphs" or carvings of animals created over 20,000 years ago.

Embark on an active hike through the rolling, terraced vineyards of the Douro Valley, one of the most scenic stretches along the river. As you climb, take in sweeping views of steep slopes lined with vines and golden light spilling across the hills. Your destination is the timeless village of Provesende, where tradition and tranquility await.

With the Douro as your backdrop, dine at DOC, where every meal is a special moment and Michelin-star chef, Rui Paula, dazzles your palate by blending modern and inventive culinary techniques with traditional dishes.

A perfect jumping-off point for any Portuguese adventure, our multi-night exploration of Porto, one of the country's most vibrant cities, offers ample opportunities to explore, with or without us.
Much like bourbon belongs to Kentucky and Champagne to France, Port wine is inseparable from Porto. A UNESCO World Heritage city, Porto is shaped by the Douro River - a lifeline of both its landscape and its legacy. Here, history surrounds you, azulejo tiles catch your eye, and the Port wine never stops flowing. An excellent jumping off point for a journey down the Douro.
Nestled in the heart of the Douro Valley, Régua and Pinhão offer sweeping vineyard views and a rich winemaking heritage, an unforgettable stop for wine lovers. Hands-on workshops and exclusive tastings deepen your connection to the region. On experiences beyond the valley, discover Braga's cultural treasures, cross the dramatic Arouca Suspension Bridge, and explore prehistoric wonders on a private rock art safari.
Kayaking, a visit to a local quinta, leisurely bike rides—your adventures along the Douro are enriched with opportunities to explore at your own pace, plus plenty of time to relax and enjoy the comforts of river cruising.

Beyond these dedicated windows, you're always free to personalize your experience by sitting out activities that don't match your mood and enjoying more time your way.
Location indicates where your free time begins. In some cases, that means you'll be back at your hotel, with the freedom to relax or head out on your own.
