Tauck’s U.S. National Parks Volunteer Program – 2009
For the past six years, Tauck guests visiting Yellowstone National Park have enjoyed an opportunity to participate in a unique volunteerism program operated by Tauck in cooperation with Yellowstone National Park and the Yellowstone Park Foundation. The program has allowed guests to spend approximately 2.5 hours during their Yellowstone visit working on a variety of preservation and rehabilitation projects within the Park.
In six years, more than 10,000 Tauck guests have donated some 18,000 hours of labor to dozens of Yellowstone projects. The innovative program has received widespread acclaim and recognition, and been honored with awards from both the White House and the U.S. Interior Department. For 2009, we’re excited to be relocating the program to nearby Grand Teton National Park where the need is also great, and where a number of important projects await our volunteers!
We welcome you to click on the links below to view photos of the volunteers in action. If you participated in the program, we have arranged the photos by the date your tour began, your tour number and Tauck Director's name. Due to space limitations, we are not able to post every picture for every departure, but we hope that you'll enjoy the assortment we've chosen. If your departure is not listed, then we were unfortunately unable to post pictures from your tour.
