We’re pleased to be able to offer our enriching journeys to help non-profit organizations in their ongoing efforts to raise funds for important causes. We would like to be able to donate a tour to every organization that asks, but as you can imagine, this is not possible. Unlike airlines, cruise lines or hotel companies, who often have unoccupied seats or rooms that cost them very little to donate, Tauck World Discovery does not own vessels, vehicles or rooms. For each guest who travels with us, we must purchase the hotel rooms, meals, entrances to attractions, etc. Our Solution Our solution is to offer a select number of non-profit organizations the opportunity to purchase a tour at a discounted rate, which they can then use in a live auction or raffle. This arrangement has been very successful for the many organizations that have used it, although it may not be appropriate for every organization or fundraising event. Our Guidelines Our goal is to help a broad array of organizations across the country. We do not make tour donations to religious organizations, schools (private or public), or any group that does not have 501(c)(3) status. All interested organizations are welcome to apply by contacting Beth Young, Corporate Giving Coordinator, at byoung@tauck.com or by phone at (203) 899-6884. Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis and must be received 2 weeks prior to the meeting date (dates listed below).
