Inside The Park Lodges & Hotels

Stay in Lodgings Inside the National Parks with Tauck

When you spend the night inside a national park, magic happens. Because you don’t have to rush off at the end of the day, you can relax, immerse yourself in some of the most spectacular natural wonders on Earth, and connect with them personally. You witness the play of color and light throughout the day – and experience glorious sunrises and sunsets you’ll never forget. The stars come out clearer and brighter than any you’ve ever seen before. Night noises fill the air – rustling and howling, the wind whistling through a canyon… You have more time to spot wildlife, hear the stories of the parks, go deeper, do more. The most amazing sights and sounds of the wilderness wash over you, peace surrounds you, staggering beauty speaks to you. Staying overnight in a national park, you become one with nature.

Many of the lodges in the heart of the parks are historic, with a rich heritage that is an intricate part of your national park experience. National parks lodgings aren’t always easy to reserve on your own; it can take up to a year to get reservations, especially during peak times. But we want you to have the best possible national park experience, so we’ve arranged for the best accommodations inside the parks on our national parks journeys. Many are historic landmarks – and to be sure, not all parks accommodations are as luxurious as you might expect in other destinations. But we think the majestic scenery of the parks and the luxury of time to fully experience nature makes the trade off worthwhile. We trust you’ll agree!

Here are the lodgings inside the national parks where you’ll stay with Tauck:

Old Faithful InnOLD FAITHFUL INN
Yellowstone National Park

In 1987 the Old Faithful Inn was designated a National Historic Landmark because it was "the first building in a National Park constructed in an architectural style harmonious with the grandeur of the surrounding landscape". Its seven-story-high log lobby is unique in American architecture. Created with gnarled logs and rough-sawn wood from the Northern Pacific Railroad, it has a sense of place as identifiable as the park itself – and you'll get a true sense of what early 20th century visitors experienced when they visited Yellowstone. But that's not the only thing special about this 100+-year-old hotel... it is also steps from the world-famous Old Faithful Geyser, where you can count on the clockwork timing of its plume of steam that soars skyward every hour. When you are not outside marveling at this natural wonder, you can enjoy the Inn's immense lobby and huge stone fireplace, comfortable rooms and a great restaurant.
