Reyjavik Hotel Suggestions/Airport Transportation

We will be taking a tour of Iceland, with a few days prior to the tour, on own. Can someone please suggest a good, centrally located hotel in Reyjavik, as well as ground transport from the airport to city center? Thank you.

    If you are looking for an alternative to the hotels Tauck has listed, we stayed in Radisson Blu before a cruise last summer. Centrally located and easy to walk all over Reykavik. Great restaurants, sightseeing nearby. If you have the Gift of Time, consider staying at the Tauck hotel. If you stay there, Tauck usually transports you from the airport to their hotel no matter how early you arrive. Iceland is a remarkable country!
