We are looking to take the Blue Danube Family Riverboat Adventure with our 18 and 16 year old daughters in June or July 2013. Is this a good age for the cruise? What is the typical age range for the children on this cruise?

We were on a Danube family cruise this past June. On our trip there was a nice mix of teens that broke up into groups typically 11-14 yr. olds and 15-18 yr. olds. They did get along just find. I, along with another parent, took the younger group one afternoon to a local park to run around and use the swings and the group really got along quite well. The crew on the Swiss Jewel really did go out of their way to spoil the kids. June is beautiful weather wise where central Europe does get quite hot and humid later in the summer. On our final days we spent after the cruise in Prague and it was so hot we left our local hotel room and fled to the Hilton for some air conditioned rooms. But our weather was 70 to low 80 degrees and perfect to sight see IMO. I would suspect your daughters would love the cruise just for the historic and raw beauty of the Danube.
