We are going on this trip in December. CDC shows moderate risk for malaria, and our doctor said it was up to us. Not sure what that means. Are any fellow traveler's being advised to take the pills or not?
We were on that tour last year (great trip!) and no one took malaria pills. We had visited our travel doctor before we left who is very cautious, and she didn't suggest taking them.
