Walking Poles ?

I am going on the Prague to Budapest sailing on 5 September. I have used walking poles in Greece and they were a big help. Would they be of help on our tours this time, or just an extra thing to pack and not use? My first river boat cruise and I am looking forward to it. Thanks for your input. Jo ST from Phoenix, AZ.

    Walking poles can be very helpful, especially since there will be the occasional uneven pavement and cobblestone roads. If you feel more comfortable using them, please bring them along.
