Travel to Shenzhen

We will be doing the Best of China tour in October, 2013. Posting here because we plan on spending a few days in Hong Kong after tour and wanted to take a day trip to Shenzhen, back in mainland China. Has anyone done this and is there any problems with visa, etc? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

    yeah, it's wise for your to travel China from Hong Kong via Shenzhen, cause' it's the most economical way to travel in China.
    In addition, the accommodation in Hong Kong is very expensive, so you are advised to book a hotel in Shenzhen during your visit to Hong Kong.
