Two weeks ago I posted the first of two videos we produced for Connecticut's new "Still Revolutionary" marketing campaign. That video, "Foundations," covered the founding of Tauck and spoke to the core values and common purpose that have driven the company's success for 87 years.
I have another great story to share. In this 2nd video, my father-in-law Arthur Tauck Jr. speaks to how he grew an innovative but small domestic motor coach company into a global force in travel. From pioneering the use of charter air flights, fighting for access to the grand park hotels of the West, making the Canadian Rockies and islands of Hawaii more accessible with helicopters, to taking the Tauck model around the globe, he is a pioneer and creative force in the travel industry.
At 81 years old, Arthur is our Chairman of the Board and very active in the company today. There isn’t a day that goes by where he’s not inspiring someone at Tauck to keep the entrepreneurial spirit alive, proving through his dedication that he is "Still Revolutionary.”
