Night 4 & 5:
Old Faithful Inn
Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
A National Historic Landmark, the Old Faithful Inn dates back to 1904 and is one of the largest log structures in the world. When the Old Faithful Inn opened its doors, it boasted steam heat and electric lights – amazing amenities for a hotel in such a remote location at the turn of the 20th century. The hotel’s “just-steps-away” proximity to Old Faithful Geyser makes it the most sought-after accommodation in Yellowstone National Park. This imposing, historic hotel features a 65-foot-high ceiling soaring seven stories above the lobby floor that is a must-see attraction in its own right. Comfortable seating areas overlooking the lobby and enormous stone fireplace are found on balconies above. Leaded glass windows create the atmosphere of the forest as they filter the sun’s light. Guest rooms are simple, yet comfortable, reflecting the atmosphere of Yellowstone’s wilderness locale. The views of the Old Faithful geyser from the second-floor terrace are marvelous. The Old Faithful Inn, with its western frontier sense of size, space and grandeur, is a wonderful experience in Yellowstone National Park.

Known as the trendiest hotel in Yellowstone National Park, it is also one of only two hotels open during the winter months.
