Le Ponant, is exclusive to Tauck with only 60 Tauck guests. She was built in France in 1991, specially designed for worldwide cruising to remote destinations accessible only by small yachts – specifically, islands and harbors in the Mediterranean that big ships can’t reach. Her sporty interior is designed for comfort, blending the exterior’s sleek lines with the decor’s stylish simplicity. On board you’ll find four decks featuring a small library with a choice of books and videos, cozy lounge with evening piano music, boutique, and a full-service bar. Continental breakfast is served in your stateroom or at an American-style buffet in the outdoor panoramic restaurant; lunch is also in the outdoor restaurant, buffet style; and dinner is served nightly in the window-lined restaurant.Staterooms (approximately 150 sq. ft.) are all outside on Le Ponant and include a private bathroom with shower, personal safe, mini-bar, multi-channel music system, writing area, individual climate control, and a telephone with world-wide satellite access.
