Nights 2 - 8: Aboard Le Ponant
Cruising the Mediterranean Sea
Sporty Le Ponant, a three-masted schooner, is truly like cruising aboard your own private yacht. Exclusive to Tauck with only 60 Tauck guests, she is stylish, friendly and relaxed. You’ll feel as though you are cruising with family – the Captain and the crew create a comfortable environment where guests have contact with everyone. Le Ponant was specially designed for worldwide cruising to remote destinations accessible only by small yachts – specifically, islands and harbors in the Mediterranean that big ships can’t reach. You’ll experience many magical moments during island and coastal navigation! On board you’ll find four decks featuring a small library with a choice of books, cozy lounge with evening piano music, small boutique, and a full-service bar. Continental breakfast is served in your stateroom or at an American-style buffet in the outdoor panoramic restaurant; lunch is also in the outdoor restaurant, buffet style; and dinner is served nightly in the window-lined restaurant. Staterooms (approximately 150 sq. ft.) are all outside on Le Ponant and include a private bathroom with shower, mini-bar, multi-channel music system, individual climate control, and a telephone with world-wide satellite access. |
