Nights 1 & 2: Hotel Danieli, Venice
Venice, Italy
To enter the Hotel Danieli Venice is to step back in time to the days when Venetian nobles lived a regal lifestyle surrounded by opulence and grandeur. Originally the palace of Doge Dandolo in the 14th century, Murano glass chandeliers, pink marble columns and stained glass still frame the hotel’s majestic staircase. Piazza San Marco, Palazzo Ducale and the Ponte dei Sospiri are just steps away. The stylish décor and comfortable furnishings in guest rooms reflect the rich cultural heritage of Venice. Each guest room provides bathrobe and slippers, deluxe bath amenities, in-room safe, mini bar, hairdryer, in-room movies, color cable TV and air conditioning. The elegant rooftop Restaurant Terrazza Danieli delivers captivating views of the Grand Canal, the Lido and the Venice Lagoon along with delectable regional and Mediterranean cuisine. During the warmer months, enjoy those same views along with your favorite libation at the Bar Terrazza. The Hotel Danieli, Venice was named to the Condé Nast Traveler’s 2007 Gold List Reserve and received the “2007 Partner of the Year” award from American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts. |

Cruising the Adriatic Sea
Le Boreal, a sleek new yacht launching in May of 2010, is small enough to provide a truly intimate cruise experience; her size makes her ideally suited for visiting ports in the Adriatic, the Baltics and along the coast of Iceland that bigger ships can’t reach. Le Boreal sports 6 decks that include Le Restaurant Gastronomique, the elegant main dining room serving French and international cuisine; the casual Le Grill Restaurant; three lounges offering evening entertainment, bars and access to the open decks; Le Théâtre hosting informative lectures and entertainment; a Fitness and Beauty Corner; a Medical Center; and multiple observation areas. Elevators serve all passenger decks. Staterooms (ranging in size from 200 to 210 sq. ft.) and suites (ranging in size from 301 to 398 sq. ft.) have ocean views; 95% have private balconies. Staterooms are decorated by French designers, offering individually controlled air conditioning, twin beds converting to a queen-size bed (or one queen-size bed), DVD / CD player, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, electronic safe and mini bar.
