Tauck Introduces New

“Monte-Carlo To Athens” Cruise

New Itinerary Follows Surging Sales In The Med

NORWALK, CT (September 13, 2006) Tauck World Discovery is launching a new cruise itinerary that visits five countries along the Mediterranean, and includes a two-night pre-stay in glamorous Monte-Carlo plus a two-night post-stay in historic Athens. The 12-day “Monte-Carlo To Athens” journey (from $6,690 per person, plus air) includes a seven-night voyage aboard the Regent Seven Seas Navigator, and reflects the incredible popularity of Tauck’s cruises in the region.

“Our guests are fascinated by the countries and cultures along the Mediterranean,” said Tauck President/CEO Robin Tauck. “This year alone our Mediterranean cruises have grown 49%, reflecting the popularity of the region, and the popularity of Tauck’s unique approach to cruising.”

The company’s “Tauck At Sea” cruising itineraries are unique in their high level of inclusiveness (with all shore excursions included in the price), the quality of tour directors (“Tauck Directors” average more than 10 years with the company), and the in-depth regional exploration Tauck builds into each cruise. In 2006, sales of Tauck’s “Treasures of the Mediterranean” cruise (13 days, from $6,390 plus air) were up 70%, while its “Treasures of the Aegean” cruise (14 days, from $6,790 plus air) was up 54%. Overall, cruises in the Mediterranean achieved 115% of Tauck’s sales goals for the year.

CRUISING FROM “MONTE-CARLO TO ATHENS”

Tauck’s new itinerary begins with two days in the Cote D’Azur, including two nights at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo and visits to Cap Ferrat, Menton and Roquebrune. Guests then embark on a seven-night voyage on the Regent Seven Seas Navigator that features a full-day exploring Rome, sightseeing on Capri and Taormina, and a port-of-call in Kusadasi, Turkey for a visit to the ancient city of Ephesus. The journey then heads west to Santorini before culminating with two days discovering the wonders of Athens.

Included in the price are cruise fare and hotel accommodations, all shore excursions, admission to all sites and attractions, 28 meals, airport transfers, liquor aboard the Navigator, all gratuities for onboard meals, ship’s staff, and local guides, and more.
