Tauck, an 85-year-old leader in premium-quality guided land journeys and cruises, was named by Travel + Leisure’s readers to the magazine’s annual list of the “World’s Best Tour Operators & Safari Outfitters” and to its list of the “World’s Best River Cruise Lines.” This is the 13th consecutive year that Tauck has been included on the tour operators list, and the second consecutive year it’s been honored for its European river cruises. The “World’s Best” lists are generated by an annual readers survey conducted by Travel + Leisure, and the 2010 survey results appear in the magazine’s August issue.
“Travel + Leisure is one of the most highly-regarded publications for global travelers, and we’re honored that their readers continue to recognize the superior quality, value and service we deliver to our guests,” said Tauck CEO Dan Mahar. “2010 is Tauck’s 85th anniversary, and this kind of recognition makes that milestone all the more special.”

Readers ranked river cruise lines on cabins, food, service, itineraries and destinations, activities and value. The Travel + Leisure survery was conducted from January through March of this year on the magazine's web site.
