Join us July 31 – August 3, 2014 for our exclusive 4-day Ken Burns Event celebrating America’s national pastime in Cooperstown, New York, home to the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum... back by popular demand! Built around rotating baseball-themed "innings," limited to approximately 130 guests and including three nights in historic accommodations at The Otesaga Resort on Otsego Lake in idyllic Cooperstown, this ultimate baseball tour features an opportunity to meet Ken Burns, creator of the documentary Baseball, during our private evening at the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum following his keynote address exclusively for our Tauck Event; chances to meet and mingle with Major League Baseball Hall of Fame knuckleballer Phil Niekro at historic Doubleday Field; presentations by former Major League and All-American Girls Professional Baseball League players, baseball historians and other experts on the game; behind-the-scenes VIP visits to view rare artifacts in the Hall of Fame & Museum; and an exclusive, private lakeside barbecue with entertainment and our special guests on the lawn of The Otesaga Resort on the shore of beautiful Otsego Lake. The event also features presentations by historian and author Daniel Okrent, an originator of Fantasy Baseball, and former AAGPBL catcher Lois Youngen, among others. Enjoy private time to explore the National Baseball Hall of Fame after the Hall is closed to the public; a chance to get in a few swings at the Doubleday Field batting cages and more.
